A video file is a container: it holds the picture, the sound and some metadata as separate streams. The converter reads the sound stream, decodes it and encodes a fresh MP3.
How long can a video be to fit in 150 MB?
It depends on the video's bitrate, not on its length alone. As a rule of thumb, higher resolution and frame rate mean fewer minutes per file.

If your video is too large, trim it to the part you need in the Photos app, in your phone's gallery or in any video editor, then convert the shorter copy.
Does a video to MP3 conversion lose quality?
Only slightly. The audio inside most videos is already compressed, usually as AAC or Opus, and MP3 compresses it again. At 192 kbps or higher, the MP3 sounds practically the same as the video's soundtrack. No video MP3 converter can improve a phone microphone, so 320 kbps only makes sense for music videos with a clean soundtrack.

Which audio track is converted?
The first one. Most phone videos have a single track, so this never comes up. Some MKV and MP4 files carry several tracks, for example two languages or a director's commentary. Can I convert a video to MP3 on my phone?
Yes. On an iPhone, open this page in Safari, tap Browse files, choose Photo Library and select the video; the MP3 is saved in Files > Downloads. On Android, use Chrome and pick the video from your gallery; the MP3 goes to Downloads. Very long videos can run out of browser memory on older phones, so use a computer for those.
What this video converter cannot do
