Convertola
About Convertola
Convertola converts still JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, TIFF, BMP, and ICO images, and it turns audio or video you already have into MP3. It is meant to be clear about what it can do and what it will not attempt.
What the converter does
You upload a still JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, TIFF, BMP, or ICO image, including files named .jpg. Convertola decodes it on the server, applies the visible orientation, and re-encodes it in the format you chose. Embedded metadata is removed unless you choose to preserve it, and only formats that can store it will keep it.
Audio and video become MP3 in the browser with FFmpeg. That file is not uploaded. The page downloads the converter engine instead.
The download is offered only after that file exists. The link expires and the file is deleted after 15 minutes.
What it does not do
Convertola does not download videos, audio, or images from other websites. It does not accept animated GIF, multi-page TIFF, HEIC, PDF, or RAW files, and it does not keep an account or a library of past conversions.
It also does not promise that a lossy conversion is visually identical to the original, or that the new file will be smaller.
Languages
The site is available in English and Español. Another language is published only after the converter, navigation, errors, and these pages are translated. A locale is not filled in with English and presented as complete.
