When a form says "JPG only" or a file is too heavy to attach, this PNG to JPG converter creates a compact JPG copy. Only PNG files are accepted here, and JPEG is preselected. How it works
How do I get a PNG under 100 KB or 200 KB?
There is no automatic target-size button, but the live estimate makes it quick. Lower the Quality slider and watch Size; for most photos the file shrinks a lot between 100 and 75. If it is still too large, reduce Dimensions (px): a 1200-pixel-wide image is far lighter than a 4000-pixel one. Use Crop to remove empty margins.

What happens to transparency when converting PNG to JPG?
JPG cannot store transparency. Transparent and semi-transparent areas of the PNG are filled with white in the JPG, so a logo on a transparent background ends up on a white square. To keep the background see-through, convert to WebP, or leave the image as PNG.
